Man Up Homey!!!!
Warning! The following is real talk from a very geniune perspective. This is not for the weak at heart.
Ever feel alone? Like you dont fit in anywhere sometimes? Or like you are stuck between two not worlds but universes? I do? In fact more and more I am beginning to feel that way.
Why? It largely has to do with the fact you are not of this world. You are sojourner looking forward even ahead to another place. Your home where your, President that is the King Of The Universe dwells. Sometimes, because you are set apart by Him you are gonna feel weird. Remember the whole world is going down a BIG, BROAD, road. This is a large enough Highway for everyone and their fat mama to ride down. My apologies to the fat mamas, I mean no disrespect. But you get the point.
The things that you seek to quit doing or flat out stay away from everyone else revels in and cannot truly comprehend why you try so hard to abstain. You may even be respected for your views or beliefs but you go misunderstood. Why? Because beloved the One that you seek to emulate in your life was and in fact IS the most misunderstood person in human history. Every one paints Him with every brush and perspective except the one that He revealed.
No my love. The road is narrow, and the journey in terms of human company can be lonely at times. He will strip you of any thing and anyone that tries or you try to put in His position. That throne in your Heart/Life belongs to Him. In Revelation he tells the Apostasy Church which is the last one I might add, that whom He loves He chastens/corrects. Has He ever corrected you? Have you ever placed something in His place? Have you had something that you just loved and then disaster hits and its gone? Whatever it is or whoever it is an Idol. You will have no other Gods besides me.
There are few that have or will find this path that you are on. I didnt say it Jesus did. Why? Frankly because when it occurs to the casual professor of faith what the cost really is, they want no part of it. Thus begins Mr. Potato Head religion. Dont front. You have heard this kind of belief system, heck we all have. Example
"I believe in Jesus but I dont believe that he was God."
Amazing. The man said that He was several times in red print but yet they dont believe it. Heres another one ...
"I believe in Jesus but I dont think that he was the only way. I think that there are many."
Truly amazing. The main man Himself stated that, I am the way, the truth, and the life. NO ONE can get to the Father (God) except through me.
See we dont get to make the terms; the terms have already been made. He is the author and the finisher of our faith; mark that the completer of what we believe. He makes the terms of what is acceptable. He is in charge.
Ahhhhhhhhhhh. That is the problem isnt it? HE is in charge. This is completely antithetical to every thing that we are taught by society. You have the power; you are in control of your life, etc ...
That may have been true when you werent saved but it aint the case any more. Narrow is the gate. This aint for the faint of heart. If ya aint know, listen up. The faith is made for soliders and for the militant in heart for their King. It is not for the bench warmers nor the sideline cheerleaders nor the punks that get hit once and cry about the pain nor for the overly ambitious who wanna have everything in the here and now. I apologize right now if you have in any way lead to belief that you can follow Christ and not GIVE up your life.
I apologize because you have been lied to. This is a war, a battle, and a fight for the faith. A radical advancing of our Kings radical agenda. Not with cruel words, or stupid protests at in opportune and frankly inappropriate places but rather a good fight. A fight against the real orchestration of the New World Order, Satan. I am sorry if you were told that its all right to be indifferent to the faith. It aint. it aint about political power. Paul and the rest of the Apostles did not turn the world upside down because they sought to vote in their beliefs. They accomplished it through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Yea. I will get REAL hood before this ends. Because I feel this. If you have looked at this world and not shed ONE tear you aint got it. You may have religion but you aint got the Faith. When Jesus looks at the world He does. Mainly because He cannot get the people that claim to love him to actually serve Him. Most of them wanna do their own thing for 6 days and give him 45 minutes to an hour for one day. He is looking for worshippers. People that He pulled out of the gutter and will tell the world that He lives and is coming. People that used to be Hoes, Pimps, drug addicts, materialistic people, hobos, molested, rape victims, convicts, know it alls, teenage mothers, and gangsters. There are more but I dont have enough room.
You are different. If you take what Jesus said seriously and try to live for Him, you are different. Man up solider, man up! Take the hit, take the pain, take the loneliness and take the rejection. If you are the only one calling to a hurt and dying world in you sphere of influence then praise Him. You are bringing joy to Him. I leave with this
